GIL-V TALES IT TAKES A VILAGAE

"Why the name?"

Mouse was born while we were out of town. Fortunatly my mother-in-law was on kitten watch, and was there when he arrived. He was a singleton and neither him, nor Gracie May liked the idea of feeding for the first several weeks of his life. So he was bottle fed and hand raised for the first couple weeks. It "Took a village" to keep him alive as many people chipped in to take turns feeding and caring for him.

When I left him in the care of my parents for a weekend, my mother squeeked - "What is it?!? A mouse?"  The name stuck.
